Rules and readiness
What teams need before the event day
UNICTF is designed to feel organized and credible on campus. Participants should know the operating rules before arrival.
Eligibility and conduct
Students must register using valid campus details, follow event instructions, and avoid any activity outside the official competition environment.
Team composition
Register individually or as a group. Team lead details are mandatory, and each group must submit teammate names during registration.
Scoring and awards
Challenges are scored by flags and task completion. Final standings and award handling are covered in the official rules PDF.
Laptop readiness
Participants should arrive with a charged laptop, updated browser, and working tool setup for packet analysis, web testing, and file inspection tasks.
